Determining antibacterial activity of antibacterial finished products”.

The Tissue shows Antibacterial Activity Tests were performed with test strains Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 and Klebsiella Pneumoniae ATCC 4352.

The assessment of antimicrobial activity is based on the Hohenstein Assessment Scheme (Rev. 2 January 2015).

From the results obtained in vitro, the sample is not irritating/sensitizing.

Below, we bring the’ extract of a Chinese study on the protection offered by metal fabrics at the time carried out . Of course it is referred not to the Coronavirus cause of COVID 19 obviously too recent , but done on the Covid 1 (Sars) of 2005 , useful by analogy as it is done currently.

Extracted from the STUDY ON METALLIC CATALIZEDS that he had for Goal:
Study the two metal catalysts Ag , Al2O3 and Cu , Al2O3 that interrupt the transmission path of SARS and other respiratory infectious diseases.
METHODS:Two metal catalysts Ag / Al2O3 and Cu / Al2O3 were pressed into wafers. One hundred microL 10 (6) TCID50 / mL SARS-CoV, 100 microL 10 (6) PFU /mL recombinant baculovirus expressing the hamster prion protein (haPrP) and about 10 (6) E. coli were slowly dropped on the surfaces of the catalyst wafer and exposed for 5 and 20 minutes, respectively. After being eluted by the surfaces of wafers, the infectivity of viruses and the propagation of bacteria were measured. The expression of the PrP protein was determined by the western spot. Bacteria's morphological changes were observed by electron microscopy.

RESULTS: After exposure to catalyst surfaces for 5 and 20 minutes, SARS-CoV infectivity in the True and Baculovirus cells in Sf9 cells dropped to a very low and undetectable level, and no colony was detected using the bacterial culture method. Protein expression reduced to 21.8% in the preparation of Sf9 cells infected with recombinant baculovirus exposed for 5 minutes and undetectable exposed for 20 minutes. Bacterial membranes appeared to crack and the cytoplasm appeared to be effluent from cellular bodies.

CONCLUSIONS: Exposures to the surfaces of Ag / Al2O3 and Cu / Al2O3 destroy the replication and propagation capabilities of SARS-CoV, baculovirus and E.coli.

The inactivation capacity of metal catalysts must interact with air, using oxygen molecules in the air. (as is the case with breathing through the BioSilver mask) Efficient killing of viruses and bacteria on the surface of the two metal catalysts has a promising potential for air disinfection in hospitals, communities and homes.

CONCLUSIVE CONSIDERATIONS : In light of the above, the high protective capacity of the mask with silver fabric is evident, which can be estimated at least 10 times higher than the common surgical mask and similar to professional masks with filter.
